What we keep
Your account details (name, email and a scrambled form of your password) and the farm records you or your team add: sales, expenses, batches, storage, staff, land, contacts, chats with the assistant, photos and voice notes you send it. When you join, we also keep your answers to a few questions about you and the farm (your role, years farming, how you keep records, what you find hard, where you sell and how you heard of us). You can change them in Settings.
How we use it
Only to run AgriaOS for your farm: to show your records, work out your numbers, answer the assistant’s questions and send emails you ask for, like invites and password resets. Your sign-up answers help the assistant fit your farm and show us, as a team, what to build next. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
To answer you, the assistant sends your message and the farm details it needs to our AI provider. Voice notes go to a speech service to be written down. Both process the data only to give you the answer and don’t keep it for their own use. Your data is stored on servers run by our hosting provider.
Who can see your farm
Only the people you invite. The farm owner decides who has access and can remove anyone at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your records while your account is open. When you close your account, we delete your farm’s data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something longer.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask to see, correct, download or delete your personal data, object to how it’s used, or withdraw consent. Ask from inside the app and we’ll respond within the time the law requires. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Keeping it safe
Passwords are stored scrambled, never in plain text. Connections are encrypted, and each farm’s records are kept separate from every other farm’s.
Your choices
You can download your records as spreadsheets from Settings at any time. You can delete your account and your farm’s data yourself from Settings, Your account.
